Club Workshops
Workshops represent the heart of the “learning and doing” activities of the Oklahoma Camera Club. Professional and advanced photographers share experience and knowledge with new members and less experienced members. Workshops give members confidence through education to enter photographic competition.
Workshops usually meet once a month. Locations and programs are announced by the chairperson of the group. Classroom and outdoor workshops are held to cover all areas of photographic interest. Workshops give members an opportunity become acquainted outside of regular club meetings. Getting to know each other makes attending club meetings a more enjoyable and relaxed experience.
New workshops will be started when there is an interest. One need not be an expert to chair a workshop. The club has, within its membership and in the community, many knowledgeable people willing to visit a workshop for the purpose of assisting and instructing.
All club members are eligible to participate in as many workshops as are held; we encourage each member to participate.
Workshop times and dates will be announced at Club meetings, and published in the FOCUS.
