For February, we will begin planning a field trip and discussing camera settings for nature shooting.
Topics for discussion for Camera Tech Talk:  (Want everyone’s opinions – Open Discussions)
-Modes of operation (i.e. Manual, aperture priority, shutter priority, etc.)
-Auto ISO vs Manual
-Metering Modes (evaluative, center weighted average, spot, etc.) vs Exposure Compensation
-Focus stacking/focus bracketing

Nature and Wildlife Photo Locations in Oklahoma

Melanie and I discussed some of our favorite places to photograph birds in Oklahoma:

– Grand Lake, Pensacola Dam – the #1 best place to photograph Bald Eagles, Blue Herons, etc

– Pawnee lake – Active eagle nest and several other birds

– Sequoyah State Park – great place for song birds

– Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge – Bald Eagles, eagle nests, hawks, falcons, song birds

– Eagle Nest at Draper Lake dam
